Welcome to the new iteration of the Minimal Wellness newsletter. I’m Bex, the founder of minimalwellness.com and cohost of How to Love.
Many of you first engaged with my work via my nutrition and health website, Minimal Wellness, which launched in 2016. At the time, I was a registered dietitian with a passion for guiding people toward a more nourished life. That focus shifted considerably in 2020, and with all of the societal upheaval of the past few years, my interests and energies evolved.
In January 2021, my husband and I started a podcast called How to Love (H2L), which has become my professional priority. I still place tremendous value on nutrition, but coaching feels out of alignment with my current interests, so I’m stepping back from one-on-one consulting. Minimal Wellness will remain online, but I’ll be leaning into H2L, where we’ll continue to explore uncomfortable conversations about unconventional relationships, sex, parenting, and wellbeing.
I’ll use this substack to write more freely than I have on my blog or former newsletter. Social media is a space I feel deeply conflicted about, so despite them being useful platforms for sharing, this will be where I expound on ideas. The Substack format also allows for comments, which makes it feel like a nice hybrid between a blog and a social media page.
